Trusting Knowing and Serving God
Trusting, Knowing, Loving and Serving God
Eternal God of Endless Mercy
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself
“In the silence of the heart God speaks. If you face God in prayer and silence, God will speak to you. Then you will know that you are nothing. When you realize your nothingness, your emptiness, that God can fill you with Himself. Souls of prayer are souls of great silence.”
Life only makes sense with a belief and knowledge of God. If people really believed in God and lived by His Word we would have a much happier world. In fact we would have a situation akin to heaven on earth. We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us to live by this gift.
If we are truly faithful to God we are at peace with ourselves and our neighbor. If we have total trust in God we are can truly follow His command about loving our ‘enemy’ for he will provide us with the grace for us to do so. Believe and trust in Him
He has no hands but our hands no feet but our feet. May the Holy Spirit guide our lives and by our example and witness come to know the love and generosity of our great God.
By ourselves we are broken. With the Lord we are made whole. We pray for those who search that they will find the peace of Christ. God loved us so much that he gave His only begotten Son so that we can have life. By our example may we lead others to Christ.
O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbour as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ – in atonement for my sins, in supplication for the holy souls in purgatory, and for the needs of the Holy Church.
God, there are so many who suffer
In today’s world
And so few who know
To forget their sorrow
I thank you God
Because your Son has risen from the dead
And put to death in my soul
The anguish of sin
I want to laugh,
I want to dream
I want to give to everyone
The joy of loving
Dear God, as a Catholic and as as Christian my ambition in life is to know you, to serve you, to love you, and love my neighbour as myself. Share the great joy and happiness only you can provide and above all Lord to do your blessed will.
Allow God to love you. Just open your heart and receive. Never believe you are beyond the reach of God’s Love. Even in your worst moments he is as close as your next breath. May the Lord help us open our hearts to his presence this very hour. Amen
Gracious God, May we worship You, Lord, with gladness. May we come before You, singing with joy and acknowledge that You are the Lord God. You made us and we are Yours.
God the Father, You will all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of Your truth. Send workers into your great harvest that the Gospel be preached to all and Your people gathered together by Your Word of Life and strengthened by the Sacraments, may advance salvation and love
Father, I come to you in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ. Please fill me with the power of Your Holy Spirit so I can be an effective witness for you (Acts 1:8).
When we grow strong in God’s grace we understand God’s love and forgiveness and learn to love and forgive others.
We are all made in God’s image. If we followed the way, the truth, and the Life we would have peace in our hearts and the grace to love our neighbour as ourselves.
Lord God, may we be grateful for our lot, and compassionate toward all those who are suffering every kind of distress or difficulty. May we hold back nothing, and hasten to be the ministers of prayer and mercy, like the disciples of Him who went about doing good in times of need
We were created by God to know Him, love Him and serve Him. Our destiny is finally to come back to Him.
Our pilgrimage on this earth is a lifetime journey, we start coming closer to God when we have a conversion and try to do God's will, we come back finally to stay at the Father's house when we pass from this life to eternity.
Let your cares go. Leave the cares to God and be at peace. Every act of true, blind complete surrender to God produces the effect you desire and resolves all difficult situations.
We thank God for our health and our strength. My beloved Mother taught me ‘there by the grace of God go I’ We pray for all who need our prayer at this time and thank God for all the blessings we have.
Whether it is in the home at work in the Church, or in our nation, as a matter of justice and gratitude for what we have been given we are called to be welcoming and hospitable to others. By these acts of gratuitousness we help build up the kingdom of God
Lord God, thank You for today. Thank You for my life. There are so many people around me, people I interact with on a daily basis. Please show me how I can help them. Help me to be less selfish and more thoughtful, willing to help where needed.
If we learn to hand over to our Father, our everyday cares, worries, concerns and place our total trust in Him in other words abandon ourselves totally to Him we will believe me begin to experience His great love and peace.
Lord God , today I pray for Modesty. Let my works be for Your glory and not for the praises of man. May everything that I do, be a reflection of You and not to glorify me. In Jesus name, Amen!
Through the Law I am dead to the Law, so that now I can live with God. I have been crucified with Christ, and I live now not with my own life but with the life of Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in this body I live in faith: faith in the Son of God who loved me and who sacrificed himself for my sake.
We are in ourselves worthy of God’s grace. We do not earn it, it is a gift of God to us. It beholds is to share this grace to everyone. I am content with weaknesses insults etc for the sake of Christ, for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor 12:10
Do not receive Christ in the Blessed Sacrament so that you may use him as you judge best, but give yourself to him and let him receive you in this Sacrament, so that he himself, God your saviour, may do to you and through you whatever he wills.
Lord God, may we be grateful for our lot, and compassionate toward all those who are suffering every kind of distress or difficulty. May we hold back nothing, and hasten to be the ministers of prayer and mercy, like the disciples of Him who went about doing good in times of need
Almighty Father, give us courage to proclaim the supreme dignity
of all human life and to demand
that society itself give its protection.
We ask this in your name,
through the redemptive act
