Love
The greatest gift given by God is love. God is love and with His love we can love Him and our neighbor. God loved us so much that He gave His only Son for our lives. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love never fails.
The Greatest Commandment - Love your Lord your God above all thing and your neighbour as yourself. Help us love each other as we love ourselves. ... May we submit ourselves to one another— considering others more important than ourselves, putting the others' interests ahead of our own.
God loved us so much that he gave His only Son to redeem us from our sins. Lord give me the grace despite my unworthiness to be your servant and spread the gospel of Love.
By his the cross Jesus, our Redeemer, showed us how to love. Oh my God if we followed the way of Jesus in our love for our neighbour how great this world would be. Give us the grace to achieve this and become not a lukewarm Christian but a true follower of Christ.
Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God; for God is love. In this the love of God, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
Jesus suffered for us - he offered himself for all. We must follow his example otherwise we are not true to ourselves or more importantly to Him
What? Giving again???
I asked in dismay.
And must I keep giving and giving away?
Oh no said the Lord piercing me through,
just give until God stops giving to you!!
Almighty, ever-living God, Your incarnate Son taught us that those who suffer for your name are blessed. Give love for their neighbor to all people of goodwill.Inspire rulers and governments to work tirelessly for peace, justice and freedom for all.
If we live in Jesus and Jesus in us we can only live in His love. Then we can portray that love to others so others can come to the comfort of his great love and peace.
God sent the Holy Spirit to provide us with the strength to continue in His way. Come Holy Spirit fill our hearts with your love so we can love God above all things and our neighbour as ourselves.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbour as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me, and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
Only by the love of Christ resting in our hearts can we bring these imperfect bodies to perfection in Heaven. Lord on that journey to you please open our hearts and our minds to Your great love for us and allowing us to be your witnesses here in this life.
Jesus said to the Father ‘Father forgive them for they know not what they do.’ He said ‘love one another as I have loved you. Jesus give me the grace to follow your example.
Jesus I offer my sufferings with yours on the cross. I offer my joy with your resurrection. I offer my love as you have shown your love for me and I offer my life to you to do your will. Amen
We do not know the hour. God did not spare time redeeming us. Let us love our neighbours accordingly. Remember He has no hands but ours
When we realise how much our God loves us and accept His Son Jesus Christ as our Saviour and redeemer our lives will be transformed.
Thankfully we have his Word He is always with us even to the ends of time. Please God when He comes to us we will recognise Him and his infinite love for us. So when our life comes to an end and we meet Him, He will not be a stranger but a friend.
No human nature and corrupting power devoid of God is the cause of war, strife, division, repression, suffering and death. God is love. He calls on us no matter what the personal cost to love our neighbour as ourselves.
Jesus said ‘You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church, and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against you.’ He also said ‘I am with you even till the ends of the earth. God Bless You.
To love another person is to see the face of God
Come O Holy Spirit, enlighten the minds of your faithful. Keep us from all evil and lead us to love our neighbour and by good deeds and actions help us achieve our final reward in heaven.
Breathe into me, Holy Spirit, that my thoughts be holy. Move in me, Holy Spirit, that my work, too, be holy. Attract my heart, Holy Spirit, that I love what is holy. Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy. Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy.
