At Christmas
At Christmas
Lord, may the Christmas morning make us happy to be your children, and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven. In Jesus name we pray.
Please open your hearts to the Lord. May the light of the Christ child open our minds to his great love for us and may his love and joy find its way into our hearts. Thank you Jesus.
O Most Amiable Child Jesus, You Who said: "Ask and you shall receive," graciously hear my petition and grant me the favour I ask of You, if it be for Your Greater Honor and Glory and for the good of my soul.
Today a light will shine upon us, for the Lord is born for us;
and he will be called Wondrous God,
Prince of peace, Father of future ages:
and his reign will be without end.
We remember at this joyful time those who are displaced, suffering from the effects of natural disasters, those in pain, those suffering from loneliness or depression. May the Lord help them, bless them and give them the strength to overcome. We pray to God for them.
O Miraculous Infant Jesus! We prostrate before your image and beseech you to cast a merciful look on our troubled hearts. Let your tender heart, so inclined to pity, be softened by our prayers, and grant us that grace for which we ardently implore.
